Now more than ever there is a need for inter-religious, inter-cultural and inter-generational dialogue.
Youth for Diversity and Inclusion an initiative by the Faith in the Commonwealth Programme endeavours to foster progressive youth empowerment and education, with a positive focus on creating tolerance, respect and understanding of others’ beliefs and worldviews, on addressing multiple identities and challenges presented by the 21st century, and how individuals can act as catalysts for change. And importantly it fosters in young people a sense of themselves as global citizens, able to address the challenges of contemporary life with a stronger understanding and respect for religious and cultural diversity.
