Description
Through a successful communication, communicators get the chance to fulfill the purposes of communication which are inform , imagine, influence, meet the social expectations and express the feelings. If the communication process collapse due to language barrier or the understanding barrier, the communicators would not be able to fulfill the purposes of communication easily.
Situations like that commonly happen in society when people try to communicate with dumb and deaf people, who are unable to speak because of not knowing the sign language and disability to speak and hear. To get rid of these kind of situations, team backSlash decided to introduce an app, "Vocalis" which can fix this communication gap by translating the sign language and verbal languages as communicators could understand. By the “Vocalis” app sign language can be translated into a text or an audio, vice versa also.
Therefore, the communicators will be able to have a good communication which can fulfill the communication purposes though the language barrier remains
