TSC Peer Coaches. are selected best performers of the Technopreneurship for Social Change (TSC) programmes conducted by the HackaDev Academy of Learning and Skills.
They are a group of dynamic volunteer youth who are attached to different youth centres around the country and are trained to carry forward TSC programmes through their youth centres with the support of their instructors (who are trained instructors to carry out TSC programmes).
The Peer Coaches are committed to transferring their knowledge and learnings on entrepreneurship they gained to their peers.
D.D.Dulaj Dilshan Karunarathna is from Withikuliya, Kurunegala serving as a peer coach in Anamaduwa NYSC youth centre.
He is currently undergoing a BSc (special) in Banking & Finance. His major accomplishments are starting his dream business and entering university.
Dulaj is interested in tourism and automobiles. His future goal is to become a successful entrepreneur who can be a role model in Sri Lanka.
Dulaj is passionate to show the correct path to young people who are interested in doing new things and making new opportunities.
Fathima Amrina is from Sanguthattan, Chilaw. Her personal interest is in volunteerism and community service.
She serves as a peer coach at NYSC Youth Center Chilaw. Amrina aspires to become an entrepreneur herself while encouraging her peers to take on entrepreneurship in her community.
Janadi Jayanga from Elpitiya, Galle is a student of Sri Lanka School of Animal Husbandry.
Her personal interests include travelling and engaging in social work.
Her ambition is to become a lecturer and be a good citizen. Also, she is keen to help others to improve their knowledge in different areas.
K.F.Afla is a peer coach from Maikkulam, Chilaw
is an undergraduate from Rathnapura.
His ambition is to become an IT lecturer. Ifham hopes to provide education support to underprivileged students on his own.
He enjoys teaching, exploring new things and researching various subjects in his spare time.
Pasindu Chamika Kuda Kumara is an entrepreneur based in Kahatagasdigiliya, Anuradhapura.
He is a passionate youth that promotes good entrepreneur practice and volunteerism to uplift his community.
Pasindu enjoys sharing his experiences with others who might find value in them.
Puvanesarasa Mayurathan from Batticaloa is passionate about working on youth issues and advocating for youth empowerment.
He hopes to become a teacher to change the lives of many youths in his community.
R. D. Sandunika Amarajeewa from Gampaha is a Human Resource Management undergraduate at Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka. Her interests are playing basketball, engaging in teamwork, listening to music, reading books. Sandunika is passionate about creative thinking and problem-solving. She’s planning to join the national workforce and do her part as a responsible citizen of the country.
He is from Walasmulla, Hambantota and his interests include volunteering for the betterment of the youth of the society.
Keshan is one of the first entrepreneurs from the Technopreneurship programme.
He started his business with Ayesh who is also an Alumni of the programme. Keshan’s future goal is to expand his startup and contribute to society as a social activist in youth empowerment.
S. Satheeskaran from Mannar is following a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology at the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE).
Sathees also owns a small business. He enjoys social work and hopes to become a good lecturer as he is passionate about transferring his knowledge to others.
Samudra Gamage is a former teacher. She is a participant in the special edition of Technopreneurship for Social Change programme that was conducted at the Specialised Training & Disability Resource Centre at The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon in 2019.
Samudra has always been a confident and motivated individual.
She grew up in Galle and later moved to Colombo to pursue her higher studies at the Institute of Engineering Technology in Electronics Engineering.
Amidst adversities, she has achieved success in her areas of interest. She is currently an entrepreneur who aspires to greatly contribute to the growth, productivity and sustainability of the country through entrepreneurship.
U. Mohamed Thilshan is an entrepreneur and undergraduate from the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka. He is passionate about Social Service & Entrepreneurship and currently volunteering as the President of the Iconic Youths Club, Ampara.
His ambition is to support more young Entrepreneurs like him in his community & give them knowledge about Entrepreneurship.
